The Darling House is on the east side of Litchfield Turnpike. Additional barns at 1910 Litchfield Turnpike will be in the next submission.

All the barns either connected to, or across the street from the Darling house are part of the "complex". The large yellow saltbox barn (west side of Litchfield Turnpike) is an 18th century cow barn, and believed to have been built just before the house, which places its construction date around 1770. There is also a 19th century barn behind it that is actually an ice house (extra thick walls with sawdust as an insulator). The outbuildings on the east side include an early 19th century carriage shed and attached horse barn, a recently restored pig barn, a chicken coop, and a great 19th century 3 hole privy. An assemblage of barns spanning perhaps a 125 year period. http://www.woodbridgehistory.org/
