While the caretaker said that the property burned in the 1940s a substantial amount of original material appears to remain in the building. The State HRI form suggests that this property appears on the 1861 Baker & Tilden Atlas of Hartford City and County. A third building from this property is shown in Visser, Fig. 6-33 (p. 190).
