See Part 1 - Record No. 144
Listed on the State Register of Historic Places 11/06/2013. This building is well documented as part of an expansion of the farm that ultimately led to the farmer being foreclosed on and the property entering the current owner's family. It is a good example of a well-finished barn that combined the utiliitarian aspects of the work space with highly decorative trim elements.

The farm complex and farmhouse sit on the hillside close to and on the west side of Artillery Road in the middle of large rolling fields. The farmhouse, a 2 1/2-story gable-roofed colonial style structure, has its ridge-line oriented north-south parallel to the road, and its east facade fronting the road. To the west and north of the house, a complex of barns form a semi-enclosed yard, with the main driveway entering along the north side of the house and leading to the yard area. A large area of open fields extends westward, bounded by Charcoal Avenue on the north and Middlebury Road (Rte 64) on the south. A cemetery is located at the southwest border of the open land.
