Second Annual Barns Grant awardees: 2009
2009 Barns Grant Recipients:
This is a very exciting time for the CT Trust as we just funded our second round of the Barns Grant. The purpose of this grant is to support efforts to preserve the iconic historic barn of Connecticut. The 2009 Barns Grant can be used for one or more of the following three options: a conditions assessment, to determine what needs to be done to restore the structure; a feasibility study, to explore adaptive re-use options; and/or minor stabilitzation projects.
The 2009 Barns Grant was funded by the CT General Assembly. $81,000.00 was granted to 15 private citizens, non-profit organizations and municipalities.
